What Ringround does
Ringround plans call trees and prints them. It does not place calls, send texts or email anyone, and it does not check that the numbers you enter are right. The people on your tree make the calls themselves.
Not for emergencies
Ringround is not an emergency service and is not connected to 911 or to any public alert system. In an emergency, call 911 first. Do not rely on a call tree, or on this site being available, to keep anyone safe.
Your responsibilities
- List only people who are 18 or older and who agreed to be on your tree, using the numbers they gave you for it.
- Keep your tree’s private link to yourself; anyone with it can change the tree.
- Use Ringround only to pass news within your own group. Do not use it to plan sales or marketing calls or texts, to collect numbers for anyone else, or for anything unlawful or harassing.
Prices and the preview
Free trees hold up to 12 people. Ringround Plus is $1.95 a month or $19.50 a year per tree. During the preview there is no checkout and nothing is charged: every tree has the Plus features free. When payments open, Plus renews until you cancel; canceling keeps Plus until the end of the time already paid for. Prices will not change for a paid period that has already started.
Deleting and limits
You can delete a tree at any time; backup copies that still hold it are deleted within about four weeks (see privacy). A tree that nobody opens for 365 days, through its private link or a member link, is deleted. Once payments open, a tree with paid-up Plus is kept until its paid time ends, and deleting a tree stops its Plus renewal. To keep the site working for everyone, the number of new trees and changes per day is limited. A tree used against these terms may be removed.
No guarantee
Ringround is provided as it is. WeldonPC works to keep it running and correct, but cannot promise that it will always be available or free of mistakes, and is not responsible for calls that are not made or not answered. Check the tree and the cards before you rely on them, and hold a practice run.
Who runs it
Ringround is run by WeldonPC.com and published at weldonhastings.org. It is not a charity or nonprofit organization. These terms may change; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions: see weldonpc.com.
